PPF Edition — Integrated Steel Bracelet
PPF’s execution of the 37mm Historiques 222 reference 4200H/222A-B934 represents a significant milestone in replicating monobloc case architectures. By achieving an exact 8.5mm overall thickness, this release successfully mimics the ultra-thin industrial profile of the genuine article, avoiding the disproportionate bulk seen in earlier generic movement adaptations.
At the core of this reference is the custom Caliber 2455/2, heavily modified to achieve a 3.6mm movement profile. Rather than utilizing a standard off-the-shelf mechanism, PPF redesigned the bridge architecture to fit the slim 37mm case constraints. It provides a tested power reserve of 30 hours, operating at a 4Hz high-beat frequency (28,800vph) with a 3N gold-plated rotor featuring the specific “222” engraving.
The 37mm 316L stainless steel case utilizes a true one-piece monobloc construction, finished with vertical satin-brushing and micro-shot blasting. The dial is a subdued matte blue hue, contrasted by 18K white gold plated baton markers and hands coated in Super-LumiNova. The classic fluted bezel frames a flat scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, capturing the distinct 1970s sports watch geometry.
